Beijing Language and Culture University Opens in Tokyo

Beijing Language and Culture University, one of the leading academic institutions in China, is opening its first overseas campus in Tokyo. The campus will be located in Ikebukuro and the school is eyeing to welcome students from April 2015.

The university offers a major in business Chinese and English and its enrollment for the very first year is 150 – 120 for April and 30 for September enrollment. (Japan’s academic year begins from April and ends in March.)

The university offers an exchange program to its Beijing campus and University of California San Diego.

An inception of this new campus in Tokyo will also create an influx of students from Beijing campus to Tokyo – creating another momentum for an inbound Japan opportunity.

In 2006, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine opened its Japan campus in Kobe.
